Before the activities tab can search for items it need to be told where to search. This is a very powerful concept since you can set up search groups as broad or narrow as you like.
To set you the activities tab:
| 1. | Right click on the folder and select Properties. |
| 2. | You will then see the Folders property box where you click on Activities. |
| 3. | This will display the page where you can add, change and delete Folder Groups. |
To add a new Folder Group click on the New button and select the folders to be searched (be sure to check the search sub-folders if you want all folders below the selected folder to be searched) Give it a name, then click OK to save it to the list.
| 4. | You can then click OK to close the Folder properties window and then newly created folder group will be available to the contact activities tab. |
