The Send Document to Contact feature of Active Agent provides a convenient way to merge contact information into one of your Active Agent for Outlook merge documents.
To select your contacts from your list and click on the Create menu and then the Send Document to Contact option. You will be asked if the selected contact are the contact you want to use, if not you can use the Contact Picker to select other contacts.
Once you select your contact you will then be given the option to select your merge document. The documents listed are all Word documents and templates stored in the \Program Files\AAOutlook\Word Templates folder and sub-folder that are prefixed with Active Agent. You can add and edit documents in this collection via the Merge Templates option under the Other Tools menu. To merge the selected contacts into the document select the document from the list and click OK, this will open the selected document merged with the selected contact.
The following dialog box will appear, asking your what to do with the output of the merge. You can send it directly to your default printer, leave it open in a new document in Word or email to the selected recipients. |
