Create Flyer Mail Merge Document

The easiest way to create a Publisher document that is setup to mail merge is to start with one of the Publisher documents that is installed with Active Agent for Outlook.  They are located in the FlyerMerge folder of the installation folder (\Program files\AAOutlook\FlyerMerge).

 

Key points in setting up the Flyer Merge are:

1.Only Publisher 2003 supports the merging of images
2.You must use the Flymerge.txt file as your data source
3.Flymerge.txt must be located in the same folder as the Publisher document.
4.To add/change merge fields use the Mail Merge Wizard from the tools menu, generally under tools-mail merge-mail merge wizard (however under different versions of Publisher the menus are named differently)
